Frequently Asked Questions
An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 12 Monterey or newer, with the macOS Calendar app set up with at least one calendar account. Intel Macs are not supported.
No. Yellendar is built around the macOS Calendar app and Apple's calendar frameworks, so it is macOS only.
$4.99, once. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no trial that quietly expires. You buy it, it's yours, and it keeps yelling.
Yellendar is live in the US, UK, and most other storefronts. EU storefronts are temporarily unavailable while we complete a compliance step; we expect to be back there soon.
None. There is no account, no analytics, and your calendar data never leaves your Mac. Yellendar's App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected, and that is the whole policy.
macOS banners dismiss themselves after about five seconds, don't appear over fullscreen apps, and get muted by Focus modes. Yellendar's alert takes the whole screen and stays there until you snooze, skip, or join. It is a meeting alarm, not a meeting notification.
Yes. Yellendar subscribes to calendar changes rather than checking on a timer, so if someone moves a meeting or edits the location at the last minute, the alert reflects it. You can also join online meetings straight from the alert with one click.
